I’ve been really struggling with leakage due to exercise and even walking (being a women of a certain age… 50 something).
I was buying pads that are super uncomfortable and I’m very conscious that the show in my Lycra so I took the plunge and purchased a pair of Clara high leg heavy. They’re amazing! I’m a convert now and am placing my second order now I’ve tried and tested them.
I’m a high street size 16-18 and my weight is evenly spread so an hour glass shape (if that helps anyone) I bought a size 16 and they are fine under my gym things but I’m going to buy a size 14 as I could definitely size down.
Don’t doubt them, try them! ☺️

Great Fit, But Not Reliable for Night Use

I purchased the Carla knickers because they’re advertised as having heavy absorbency and being suitable for night-time use. While the design and fit are great, unfortunately they didn’t live up to expectations for overnight protection. I experienced a leak during the night that went through to my clothes and bedding — not ideal, especially when the product is marketed for heavy flow and night-time wear.

One key issue is the lack of absorbent coverage at the back, which makes them less reliable when lying down. Based on this, I wouldn’t recommend them for night-time use. I now only wear them during the day or on lighter flow nights.

If you’re looking for full overnight protection, I’d suggest checking out Cheeky Wipes — their knickers offer absorbency from the front waistband all the way to the back, which gives much more peace of mind while sleeping.

I'm sorry that you are disappointed with your purchase however the only knickers we actually recommend for night time leaks are the Polly as the gusset gives full coverage on the bottom. All of our other knickers (including the Carla) are really only suitable for day-time, active women as the gusset has been designed to end at the crack of the bum for discretion - therefore not making them suitable for night-time. I think that we should definitely make this clearer on the website though and will change the description to reflect that.

The Best Knickers I’ve ever owned!

I have been on the hunt for vpl free knickers for a very long time and I am over the moon at finding these! You can’t see them at all under sports leggings and even better that they are period pants! I could easily wear these every day! I love them! Thank you Nixi Body for making such fabulous knickers!
